The Island of Elba, in the middle of the Tyrrhenian Sea, surrounded by a deep blue sea, and by the magic transparencies of ancient times. A corner of paradise within reach, but far away from crowed holiday resorts.
Visiting the Island of Elba means to discover the coast made of long sandy beaches, small inlets and beautiful cliffs. Discovering the island means to visit ancient mines and small medieval villages, to taste typical dishes rich in genuine flavours, to walk in the green of the wood or to do some favourite sport while relaxing.
To visit the island of Elba means to immerse oneself in a timeless, unique and incomparable world, in which dreams and reality are in a blended in a natural way.


With a distance of 10 km from the continent and a size of 224 qkm Elba is the biggest island of the Tucan Archipelago and actually the third-biggest of Italy. The island has about 35000 residents and is diveded in 8 communes: the main tower Portoferraio, Campo nell'Elba, Capoliveri, Marciana - with the biggest size, Marciana Marina, Porto Azzurro, Rio Marina and Rio nell'Elba.
The climate is always mild with a middle annual temperature of ca. 16°; the medium in the winter is about 10° degrees, 14° in spring, 23° degrees in summer and 17° degree in autumn. The medium water-temperature of April is always about 19° degrees, 20° in May, June about 24°, 26,8° degrees in July, in August 27,3°, September 25,5° degrees and October 23,1° degrees.
