Pomonte, from the latin name Post montem. Pomonte is the most typical village of Marciana,at the foot of impressive and sunny San Bartolomeo mountain. In its back lies a huge valley that stretches until the top of the Monte Capanne mountain, full of vineyards on terraces. And then the tamarisks, in Via del Mare, that with their knotty writhing seem to bow to the great sight the he sunset offers each evening.
